Self-Catering Family Easter Holiday Accommodation in Brittany
Kergudon looks lovely in the spring time which makes the gîtes at Kergudon the perfect location for your family Easter holiday. The gardens at Kergudon cover just over an acre and during the run up to Easter time the trees, flowers and song birds start to spring into life, making Kergudon a magical place for an Easter holiday in Brittany and Finistère.
We love the spring time and especially Easter in Finistère. There are some wonderful places to explore and discover in this beautiful region of Brittany.
From fun family days out, stunning countryside and forest walks and fabulous restaurants, Finistère and the Monts d’Arrée offer a real slice of traditional Breton life.
You can find a great list of activities and attractions in Finistère at the Familiscope website including:
- Adventure Parks

Centrally located to explore everywhere!
Our self-catering holiday cottages at Kergudon are set in the heart of Brittany. The original ‘Manoir’ dates to 1640 and has been lovingly converted into our Priory Gîte. The Priory Gîte sleeps up to 6 guests and provides theatre with its double height vaulted ceiling, mezzanine four-poster French bed and enormous ancient fireplace. Our Granary Gîte also sleeps 6 guests and is full of character and charm.
The gîtes at Kergudon boast beautiful views up to the Foret de Saint-Cadou and are a mere 2km from the Lac Du Drennec which is in its own right a beauty spot and perfect for picnics and walks.
Extra special family holiday memories in Brittany
To make your family holiday in Brittany extra special, Ben and David organise an Easter Egg hunt throughout the gardens at Kergudon for guests who are staying for a 7 night family Easter holiday. The now famous Kergudon ‘Chasse aux œufs’ is great fun for all the family and every year our guests say that it is a real highlight to the holiday.
Every Easter Monday our lively village of Saint-Cadou host the Marche sur L’eau , which is a wonderful event usually held at the Lac Du Drennec. The Marche sur l’eau features many artisan crafts and arts and some amazing food and drink that are all local. Big tables are set up so that the whole family can come together and enjoy a wonderful meal in the sunshine with live music, traditional games and great memories.
